Weekly Winner… & Updates from Stampin’ Up! April 29, 2014

2014 Stampin’ Up! Catalog Premiere Event

Last night I went to the premier of the new catalog, which will be available in June.  Thousands of demonstrators from around the country gathered in movie theaters to see the wonderful things that Stampin’ Up! has in store for us.

  1. Me? I never win anything! Thank you so much. You are really doing an outstanding job! To be so new to stamping and making such beautiful cards is incredible.I cannot wait to watch you grow in your craft! I really like:Your cardsYour detailed instructions, including the photos of the items used AND your paper dimensionsGiving credit to othersYour timely e-mail with weekly deals, new MDS, SU announcements Your video was quite good. I have to ask – why do you not put the stickers on the back of the clear stamps? I would be stamping everything up-side-down without my stickers. Heck, even with them I still have the occasional oops. I hope you didn’t lose too many stamps due to the retirement. You’ve had a day now. Do do you love the new catalog? Thanks for inspiring me! Carol Whitlow

    • Wow Carol, you crammed a lot into that comment! Thank you for all of your kind words about my blog. It’s funny that you noticed the lack of stickers on my stamps. I don’t put the them on my stamps because I heard that they don’t stick to the clear blocks as well with the stickers on the back. I was told that before my first Stampin’ Up! order even arrived, so I’ve never actually stamped with the stickers on. I don’t know if it is true or not, but stamping without them has never been an issue for me. I have never stamped anything upside down. LOL. I think I’m just in the habit of looking at the rubber part before I stamp.

I have about 6 or 7 stamp sets that are retiring, so that isn’t too bad. I will miss them though… 🙂 However, the new catalog has lots of new things for me to play with! I can’t wait to dig in there further. Today was a super busy day, so I haven’t had a chance to curl up with my catalog the way I really want to! LOL.
